Before ordering
Suitability is confirmed at quote stage.
Resin properties vary. Tell us about heat, sunlight, impact, skin contact, load, fit and any regulated use. Standard resin prints are not automatically certified for food contact, medical, dental, PPE or safety-critical applications.
Support contact points and small surface marks can remain after removal. If a face must be presentation-ready or dimensionally critical, mark it on the drawing or include it in the brief. Sanding, priming, painting and assembly are separate finishing requirements and must be agreed in the quote.

The process is different from filament printing, so the file, finish and intended use all matter at quote stage.
- What is resin 3D printing?
- Resin printing uses controlled light to cure liquid photopolymer into a solid part, one layer at a time. It is chosen for fine features and smoother surfaces on compact parts.
- Is resin printing the same as SLA printing?
- SLA is one resin-printing process. MSLA and DLP also cure liquid resin with light, so buyers often use resin printing as the broader term. We confirm the production setup when we review the file.
- Is resin better than FDM?
- It depends on the part. Resin is usually better for miniature detail and smoother surfaces. FDM is usually better for larger parts, multicolour products and many everyday functional jobs.
- Can you resin print miniatures and figures?
- Yes. Miniatures and figures are a strong fit when faces, textures, lettering and small features need more definition than FDM can provide.
