Custom exhibition models and branded display pieces

Give people something they can see, hold or point to when you explain your product. A scale model, cutaway or branded display can make a technical idea easier to understand at a meeting, exhibition or showroom.

For manufacturers, architects, sales teams, exhibition agencies, designers and educators.

Design, materials and finish agreed for your project.

What could you make?

These are starting points for a custom enquiry. Dimensions, materials, artwork and any finishing are agreed for your project.

Product and demonstration models

Show the shape of a product without moving the full-size equipment. A simplified replica or cutaway can focus attention on the part your sales team needs to explain.

Scale and architectural models

Discuss a building, site layout or object at an agreed scale. Minimum printable detail, model size and the available CAD files determine what can be represented clearly.

Branded display objects

A dimensional logo, oversized product shape or custom plinth can give a stand a recognisable focal point. Send the available space and any venue restrictions alongside the artwork.

Handling and training aids

A physical demonstration piece can show an assembly, geometry or relationship between parts. Explain what participants need to do with it and which features must remain accurate.

A model needs a clear job to do

Scale and level of detail

Reducing a CAD model can make walls too thin or details too small. Identify the important features first. FDM and resin can be assessed for different parts of the model rather than assuming one process suits everything.

Finish, assembly and repeat transport

Painting, labels, clearances between parts and a stable base should be specified. If the model travels to several exhibitions, discuss disassembly and packing as part of the design.

The event deadline

Leave time to review the design and any sample. Tell us the venue delivery requirements and the date the piece must be ready, including whether you need it before the event for photography or rehearsal.

What to send for a useful quote.

Send what you have now. If a detail is still undecided, say so and we can discuss it. Include a budget range if you want help narrowing the options.

Brief this project
  • Purpose of the model and what the audience needs to understand.
  • CAD files or sketches, target scale and overall dimensions.
  • Features that need accurate geometry or working movement.
  • Branding, surface finish, assembly and transport requirements.
  • Delivery destination, event date and review milestones.

Our laser, UV and 3D printing work comes together in our West Yorkshire workshop. One project brief can cover the product, branding and any individual personalisation.

Local businesses

Based in Huddersfield or elsewhere in Yorkshire? Include your location and tell us if you want to discuss a sample, local handover or workshop visit. Arrangements are confirmed in advance.

UK and international enquiries

Send the destination country, postcode and required arrival date. Delivery availability, cost and any relevant import requirements are confirmed with the project quote. Multi-site orders need the location quantities too.

Before you enquire

Useful answers for planning your order.

Can you work from CAD files?

Send the file format and a description of the result you need. We will review whether the geometry is ready to print or needs simplification, repair or additional design work.

Can the display be larger than one printer?

Larger pieces may be split into sections and assembled, depending on the geometry and finish. Share the full dimensions so joins, supports and transport can be considered in the quote.

Can you add our logo and explanatory labels?

Include the logo and final label text in the brief. UV printed or engraved panels can be discussed alongside the 3D model, with the placement and finish agreed for the whole display.

Can I use the model as a working engineering part?

A display model is scoped for presentation. If you need a functional prototype, provide the loads, fit, temperature and operating conditions so that purpose can be assessed separately.

Tell us what you want to make.

Send the idea, quantity, dimensions and deadline. Add your destination and any artwork or material preferences. We will assess the brief and discuss the scope and quote with you.

A sketch or photograph is a useful starting point. You do not need a finished design to enquire.
