Custom business products, prototypes and production aids

Some projects do not fit a catalogue. Bring us the task, the space or the object you need to make. We can assess a custom part, fixture or product idea and choose the design and production work needed to move it forward.

For small businesses, manufacturers, product teams, agencies and organisations with a specific physical problem to solve.

Concept custom business components with shaped display holders, a miniature part and a slotted wooden panel.
Design, materials and finish agreed for your project.

What could you make?

These are starting points for a custom enquiry. Dimensions, materials, artwork and any finishing are agreed for your project.

Product prototypes

Turn an idea or CAD file into something you can check for size, fit and presentation. Tell us which features matter and what decision the prototype needs to support.

Jigs, fixtures and organisers

A shaped holder, positioning aid or workshop organiser can be designed around a repeated task. Share the dimensions, loads and contact surfaces rather than just the appearance.

Packaging and presentation inserts

A custom insert can hold an item in place or help present a sample set. Send the outer packaging dimensions, product geometry and handling requirements so fit and packing can be assessed together.

Repeat parts and mixed-process products

A 3D printed component can be paired with an engraved panel or full-colour artwork. Discuss the whole assembly, including the parts you supply, to establish a repeatable specification.

A good brief starts with the requirements

What the piece must do

Explain the function, dimensions and conditions of use. Loads, temperature, wear, cleaning and exposure matter when choosing materials. Decorative and functional parts need different review criteria.

Design ownership and files

Tell us what files you have and which design work you need. The quote should make deliverables, permitted use and any confidentiality requirements clear before work begins.

Prototype before repeat production

If fit or performance is uncertain, discuss a sample and an acceptance check first. Once the design is agreed, quantities, packing and repeat ordering can be scoped around that specification.

What to send for a useful quote.

Send what you have now. If a detail is still undecided, say so and we can discuss it. Include a budget range if you want help narrowing the options.

Brief this project
  • The problem to solve and how the finished piece will be used.
  • Sketches, photographs or CAD files with measured dimensions.
  • Loads, fit, temperature, cleaning and any required standards.
  • Quantity now, possible repeat quantities and a budget range.
  • Delivery country, postcode and the date you need the first piece.

Local businesses

Based in Huddersfield or elsewhere in Yorkshire? Include your location and tell us if you want to discuss a sample, local handover or workshop visit. Arrangements are confirmed in advance.

UK and international enquiries

Send the destination country, postcode and required arrival date. Delivery availability, cost and any relevant import requirements are confirmed with the project quote. Multi-site orders need the location quantities too.

Before you enquire

Useful answers for planning your order.

Do I need a finished design to enquire?

No. Send the idea with measurements, a sketch or photographs. We can discuss the design work needed and include it in the quote. If you have a ready-to-print FDM file, the existing Quick Quote route may be a better starting point.

Can you combine 3D printing, UV printing and engraving?

We can assess a project that combines processes. The surface, part geometry, assembly and artwork need to work together, so send the requirements for the completed product rather than treating each process separately.

Can you make certified or safety-critical parts?

Include every applicable standard and operating condition in the enquiry. We need to assess the requirements before accepting a project; standard print or engraving services do not imply certification or safety-critical approval.

How do I get a price?

Send the purpose, dimensions, files, quantity and deadline. We assess design work, material, production, finishing, packing and delivery, then confirm the project scope and quote. There is no reliable universal price for a bespoke item.

Tell us what you want to make.

Send the idea, quantity, dimensions and deadline. Add your destination and any artwork or material preferences. We will assess the brief and discuss the scope and quote with you.

A sketch or photograph is a useful starting point. You do not need a finished design to enquire.
